My name is Kru Brooks Miller. I am the founder and executive director of "Khun Kao Promotions" which is based in the Washington DC Metropolitan area. My event series, the "DC Metro Showdown" is the only event in DC, MD, or VA that allows full rules Muay Thai matches for fighters, amateur or professional (elbow & knee strikes to the head are permitted).
I have been involved in the sport of Muay Thai since 1992, having begun my training under Por.Kru Kumron Vaitayanon (Master K). I have also trained with Kru Tong Trithara (Master Tong), Kru Bumrung Prawatsrichai (Master Danny), Kru Kham Philavahn (with one of his certified instructors), and Colonel Amnat Pooksrisuk. I have won 3 Muay Thai titles in 3 different weight classes. I currently coach, write, officiate, and promote Muay Thai.
It is my goal to turn the Mid-Atlantic region of the USA into one of the most highly competitive regions for Muay Thai competition in North America. |
